Note – Strictly not advertising!
I really don’t have any ideas where to start writing. Let’s just begin with, once upon a time I had pathetic skin (too direct?). Seasonal breakouts to consistent breakouts, we all have been there and note these issues are not gender-biased. Walking out the false façade of blaming the problems of the skin to ‘natural causes’ and ‘I-don’t-care’-attitude let’s just take a deep breath in and out and wonder about getting healthy, nourished skin, shall we?
Now I won’t talk about ‘how to get your fairness unlocked’ beautification or anything so if you came here to get rid of your melanin content and do some chemical reactions to that skin of yours let me just remind you this is not about that. Going back to where we were…
Personally, I use the skincare regimen of Kaya Youth. My whole regimen is about how I keep my skin nourished; avoiding heavy products. I use two sets of cream/product depending on whether it is morning or night, but washing my face + light scrubbing is mandatory for both time before I apply anything. (Link to face wash and scrubber)
My morning regimen consists of – urban detox toner, oxy-fusion serum, urban detox face elixir, and sunscreen(if I am going out I use 50SPF Lotus sunscreen but if I am at home I use oxygen boost day cream which has 15SPF )
I do sometimes apply face mask sheets from the same company but that’s very rare. Please note that I did link every product I mentioned to that of what I use.
I also do take vitamin E, C , D3 and vitamins as prescribed.
It is not that I follow everything strictly. I do sometimes only wear the toner and the cream and sometimes I just put the serum. Naturally, I have normal skin but I do face the problems of oiliness on certain days and dryness for most of them but to be direct, sticking to a regimen that suits you deals with controlling skin oils and dryness a lot.
If you want to follow such a regimen do try which company products that suit you the best. Now I will suggest you follow the company products based on the region you belong from and that which are supporting your skin requirement. For example, you are from the hotter side of the country foolishly using a high-profile product that suits winter weather increasing your breakouts, and you blaming it on nature because you can’t agree to the fact that you were mesmerized by the advertising and emptied your pockets for it. Be honest!
Another suggestion will be to buy products according to your skin type. Check whether or not your skin is capable of dealing with it. Try a tester if you want, don’t just experiment with your skin!
Now let’s focus on the main problem.
Don’t tell me you are a fast-food eater, eating pickles and heavy oil every day and blaming your skin problems on the weather and nature’s call, and before you say the phrase ‘I am a foodie’ I shall be happy to remind you being a foodie doesn’t mean being unhealthy!
Apart from genetics, many of our body problems depend on how much we take of it. Drinking less water, avoiding healthy food, to following up a terrible diet plan results in various outbreaks!
Now, bringing forth the secret to my healthy skin is I use raw aloe Vera, honey, tomato, oatmeal, curd… and various other natural, easy-to-find ingredients 2 to 3 (sometimes even once) times a week. Each of what and how I use I will update on different blogs, attaching the link here as well.
Why I use Kaya Youth? – I am from India and this is an Indian skincare brand that basically meets the weather conditions and skin types as well as basic problems. Though honestly, it’s light and not pricey with exclusive names like many different brands. I have been using them for almost two years now and I will hold on to them for some more time.
